Architectural detail: Escalator run by hamsters

I was flipping through an old sketchbook, reminiscing about school days, when I came across this:

It's a pretty typical page.  Some scribbles, bad penmanship, a lot of cryptic text, but then I noticed this:

"Hamsters that run the escalator?"  What in the world?  It took a little bit of recall, but then I remembered it was an idea for a video display.  A movie that would make it look like hamsters were powering an escalator.

Whew.  Now I know why I saved my old sketchbooks.  There is architectural genius in there.
