I really like this living room because it's bright, organized and not overly fussy. Also, while the big sectional is perfect for couch-potato weekends, the tv is tucked away in its own cabinet. Neatly maintaining the appearance that the inhabitants have active, busy lives and would never spend all weekend glued to the couch.*
My guess is that the tv is mounted on an articulating arm that will let it swing out when it's needed. I also like that the (huge) coffee table is mounted on casters so it can easily be moved away for
Kinect-playing sessions.
Here is my guess for the minimum dimensions of the space:
*I, on the other hand, stayed up until 6am on Saturday watching the last season of
Friday Night Lights. Now that I'm done with the series, I feel quite liberated but a little disoriented.
