Art: Paper drawing app

In case you couldn't tell, I've been using an iPad for my sketches lately.  I'm having hard time making the drawings look like they were drawn by an adult and not a toddler with a fat crayon.  But I will say this: it certainly rewards long, confident strokes.  Short scratches of the type that drawing instructors always discourage look especially bad on the iPad.

Anyway, I tried Paper by FiftyThree last night, and it looks halfway decent!

I used the free fountain pen that comes with the app, and $2 watercolor brushes (purchased in the app).  I'm still working out the rules for line thicknesses (Does it read pressure?  Speed?), but I'm encouraged by the first pass.

I'll post more drawings as I get used to it.  This is all part of a greater plan to improve my drawing skills.
