I went to the store today to pick up some cough drops when I saw these mini animals next to the cashier.
It was a classic impulse buy; I was paying for them before I even picked out the ones I wanted. I just couldn't resist their smallness and detail. I have a vague idea of putting them to use in some artwork.
Which reminded me of perhaps my favorite piece of artwork that incorporates miniatures:
